Murphysboro High School announced on its official X (formerly Twitter) account that it has been selected to host the 1A High School Regional, sharing information about the schedule and ticket purchasing options.

On October 12, 2025, Murphysboro High School posted: "Murphysboro High School was chosen to host the 1A High School Regional. Below is the schedule for the regional games and the QR codes to purchase online tickets. https://t.co/gEzdEXMBPn". Earlier that day, the school also shared other updates via its account: "https://t.co/h6EaZoFL1i" at 12:37 p.m. UTC and "https://t.co/8YNHAkSk1t" at 3:05 p.m. UTC.
