Murphysboro High School highlighted recent athletic achievements on its official Twitter account, posting updates about the Red Devils boys soccer and volleyball teams' victories on September 2, 2025.

In a post made on September 3, 2025, Murphysboro High School announced: "Congrats Red Devils Boys Soccer Team on Tonight's SIRR Conference Victory at Pinckneyville: 6-0 Goals scored by: David Boudet 4 Sergio Garcia 1 Jonas Schaldemose 1".

Shortly after, the school shared another update celebrating the volleyball program's performance: "Congrats to the Red Devils Volleyball Program! A clean sweep at all 3 levels vs. Christopher tonight. Varsity Team improves to (4-2)! Scores: JV : 1st set 25-20 2nd set 25-19 Varsity: 1st set 25-10 2nd set 25-5".
