Mrs. Bush stated that the full budget was put on display at the August meeting. There was an informational budget document included in the board packet which explained what Mrs. Bush looks at and what her process is in developing the budget. If there are ever any major changes in revenues and/or expenses during the year, Mrs. Bush would ask the board to amend the budget later in the fiscal year. At this point we have a deficit budget, and our budget is in balance, thanks to the inclusion of the Federal ESSER grant funds. Mrs. Bush states the reason that we have 1.2 million revenues over expenditures, is due to ESSER expenses that were incurred in FY21 that we did not get reimbursed for until FY22.
There were no public or employee concerns.
Mr. Beavers made the motion and Mrs. Brasel gave the second to adjourn the meeting at 5:50 p.m. A voiced vote was recorded as follows: Aye – All; Nay – None; Absent – None
The president declared the motion carried.
