Board President, Mrs. Lois Jones called the regular meeting of the Trico Board of Education in the Trico Media Center at 6:30 p.m. Members present were Mr. Gerald Speith, Mr. Matt Rodewald, Mrs. Stephanie King, Mrs. Amy Naile, Mr. Michael Baker and President Lois Jones. Absent: None.

Mr. Speith moved, second by Mrs. King to approve the following Consent Agenda:

1. Approve minutes of the regular board meeting for May 17, 2021

2. Approve bills for June 2021

3. Approve Activity Fund for May 2021

4. Approve monthly Finance Statement for May 2021

5. Approve Monthly Substitute List for May 2021

6. Approve Monthly Enrollment as of May 27, 2021

7. Approve Student Discipline Report for May 14 thru May 27, 2021

Mr. Baker moved, second by Mr. Speith to approve the final reading of the Trico Elementary Student Handbook for the 2021-2022 school year. Yes: King, Naile, Baker, Speith, Rodewald, Jones. No: None. Motion carried.

Mrs. King moved, second by Mr. Speith to approve the final reading of the Trico Junior/Senior High Student Handbook for the 2021-2022 school year. Yes: Naile, Baker, Speith, Rodewald, King, Jones. No: None. Motion carried.

Mr. Speith moved, second by Mr. Rodewald to approve the return of the Inter-fund loan from Bond and Interest fund to Working Cash Fund for $123,811.41 as approved on December 21, 2020 due to the late property tax receipts this year. Mr. Speith moved, second by Mr. Rodewald to approve the recommendation to hire Mrs. Sonya Dilday as the multi-age classroom teacher at Trico Elementary for the 2021-2022 school year as approved by a non-referencing agreement with the Trico Education Association allowing hiring Mrs. Dilday without waiting 10 days as listed on page five of the bargaining agreement. Mr. Speith moved, second by Mr. Rodewald to approve the recommendation to hire Adam Cross as Trico High School Principal for the 2021-2022 school year with a start date of Thursday, July 1, 2021, at a salary of $83,000 with a 3-year performance base contract. Mr. Speith moved, second by Mr. Baker to approve the recommendation to post for the following positions for the Pioneer Village After-School staff for the 2021-2022 school year.
