School discipline: Which Carbondale districts reported the most violence-related suspensions?

Herrin Community Unit School District 4, Trico Community Unit School District 176 and Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 reported the highest rate of students suspended for reasons related to violence during the 2016-17 school year in Carbondale, according to the latest report from the Illinois State Board of Education.

In this analysis, the incident rate is calculated by dividing the number of incidents by district enrollment.
