Murphysboro High School shared updates on its athletic teams’ recent performances through a series of posts on its official X account. The tweets highlighted victories by the school’s football and boys soccer teams, providing details about the games and upcoming events.

The following day, the school reported on the success of its freshman football team: "Red Devils Frosh Football Team Rolls at HOME vs. Harrisburg, 52-0! Varsity travels to Hburg tomorrow night, 7pm1" (October 10, 2025).
