Murphysboro High School shared updates on the Red Devils' performance at the Marion volleyball tournament through its official X account. The posts detailed both a victory and a loss for the team during matches held in early October 2025.

On October 4, Murphysboro HS reported, "Marion Tournament Results: Red Devils (2-0) defeat Hamilton County, 25-23, 25-22!" Later that day, the school posted another update: "Marion Tournament Results: Red Devils (2-1) fall to NCOE, 22-25, 27-29!"
