Murphysboro High School shared updates on recent student achievements and athletic victories through its official social media account. The posts highlight individual performances at a regional golf match and a team win on senior night.

On October 1, 2025, Murphysboro High School posted, "Congratulations to Parker Diehl (3rd) and William Todd (4th) on finishing in the top 5 at the IHSA Regional Golf match today and qualifying for the IHSA Sectional on Monday, October 6th!"
