Murphysboro HS shares Red Devils Volleyball victories and district statistics

Murphysboro High School reported a successful night for its volleyball teams in posts shared on September 19, 2025. The school, which is part of Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 representing Jackson County, provided updates on social media about the results and highlights from recent athletic events.

In a post published at 2:01 a.m., Murphysboro High School stated, "Red Devils Volleyball completes sweep at Herrin! Frosh won: 25-20, 25-15 JV won: 25-8, 21-25, 15-5 Varsity Won: 25-14, 25-13". Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 encompasses several schools including Carruthers Elementary School, General John A. Logan Attendance Centre, McElvain School, Murphysboro High School itself, and Murphysboro Middle School.
