Murphysboro High School reported recent athletic results on its official Twitter account, sharing updates on the boys golf and volleyball teams’ performances.

On September 11, 2025, Murphysboro HS posted that "Boys Golf places 5th out of 12 teams at the Nashville Invitational."

The following day, on September 12, 2025, the school shared another update: "Red Devils Volleyball Teams fight hard but all 3 levels fall on the road at always-tough Waterloo! Freshman 1st 21-8 2nd 21-9 JV 1st 22-25 2nd 18-25 Varsity 1st 17-25 2nd 10-25".
