Murphysboro High School has recently shared a series of tweets discussing activities and events at the institution. These posts offer insights into interactions between the administration and students, upcoming events, and the supportive spirit towards student athletes.

On April 28, 2025, the school's Twitter account reported an engaging interaction between the principal and students: "MHS principal, Cody Ellermeyer, fielded lot of great questions from Foundations of Teaching students w/ ease & sincerity. It was an outstanding opportunity for students to ask some tough questions and get honest answers. We appreciated his time and willingness to talk with us! ".
