Murphysboro High School recently shared a series of updates on social media regarding the accomplishments of its sports teams. These updates, posted on April 12, 2025, highlight performances in soccer, track and field, and baseball.

In the first update, Murphysboro High School reported the results from the Fralish Cup, noting that the Red Devils achieved a 2-0 victory against Cape Central and Belleville East. The post acclaimed Callie Decker as the Player of the Game against Cape Central, and Nahima Mateo received the same honor versus Belleville East. The report added that in a subsequent match, the Red Devils secured a 1-0 win against Belleville East, with Izzy netting a goal following a well-executed assist by Brynn. In another social media post, the school highlighted the success of the Red Devils Boys Track and Field team, which earned second place at the Cape Central Invitational. "Red Devils Boys Track and Field finish 2nd Place Cape Central Invitational."

The final update detailed the achievement of Macey Alexander, a baseball player who hit a home run during a game at Massac County. "Macey Alexander sends one over the fence at Massac County."
