Unity Point Community Consolidated School District 140 Board met Oct. 20.

In order to be good stewards in the community to minimize large group gatherings due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the public Board of Education Meeting will be broadcast online and accessible for listening via phone. This will be done using the Zoom platform.
Members of the public will be allowed to meet in-person during the board meeting, however, the District will ensure that all current health and safety guidance and District policy is followed.
Persons who do not plan to attend the meeting in person and wish to make a public comment can do so by submitting their public comments ahead of the meeting to Dr. Lori James-Gross, Superintendent, via e-mail at ljgross@up140.org with the subject “Public Comments for 10/20/22 Board Meeting.” These submitted comments will be read aloud during the meeting in accordance with Board Policy.
The Zoom broadcast will begin around 5:50 p.m. ahead of the Board Meeting at 6:00 p.m. to allow everyone who may wish to join time to work out any technical difficulties. The Board of Education will end the Zoom broadcast after we have officially adjourned the meeting.
