This morning, Representative Dave Severin appeared on the Newsradio WJPF Morning Newswatch with Tom Miller. During the interview, Rep. Severin addressed several issues important to his constituents in the 117th district.

Rep. Severin emphasized his opposition to a proposal by the Illinois Department of Corrections. He stated, "One item I want to highlight: I stand firmly opposed to the attempt by the Illinois Department of Corrections to place a 'halfway house' for released criminals in the little town of Enfield, which I represent." He assured residents of Enfield and White County that he is actively opposing this initiative.
