The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met at 10:00 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a regular meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:
Jim Marlo, Chairman
Brent Gentry, Commissioner
Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Tim Atkisson, approving ORDINANCE NO. 21-05-11-04 AN ORDINANCE FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF ALTERED SPEED ZONES. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Tim Atkisson, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
Discussion had concerning Travis Emery, County Engineer, sitting on REDCO board and a board that is being created that’s similar to SIMPCO. All three Commissioners were in agreement

Motion made by Tim Atkisson and seconded by Brent Gentry, approving ORDINANCE NO. 21-05-11-05 AMENDMENT TO AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES FOR BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Tim Atkisson, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Discussion had on Economic Development position. No action taken.
Discussion had on meeting being set up with Comptroller’s office. Those present for call will be Assistant State’s Attorney, Andrew Purcell; Auditor, Kim Meyer; Jim Marlo, Commissioner. Commissioner Marlo was also going to talk to representatives from Public Building Commission to see if they would like to attend meeting as well.
