Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board

On 08-29-20, at 1:35 a.m., the Carbondale Police Department responded to the 1000 block of East Park Street in reference to a report of a missing person. Officers learned Elizabeth A. Jett, 34 of Decatur, IL., left the area on foot in an unknown direction of travel. Jett, pictured below, is described as 5’9" tall weighing 250lbs, with blue eyes and long red hair. 

She was last seen wearing black pants and a black jacket. Jett may be with her boyfriend, Lael “Corey” Zeigler, in St. Louis, MO. Jett and Zeigler may be in a blue 2004 Mazda 6 with Kansas registration 321MVT. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the City of Carbondale Police Department at (618) 549-2121. The investigation into this incident is continuing.
