CARBONDALE NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES PERSONNEL BOARD: Carbondale to Extend Local Tax Collection Due Dates

Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board recently issued the following announcement.

 In response to the economic impact of COVID-19, the City of Carbondale is making an effort to ease the financial burden on local business owners by extending the due dates for collection of the Motor Fuel, Hotel/Motel, Food and Beverage, and Package Liquor Taxes.

The City of Carbondale will allow businesses a 30-day extension and waive any associated late fees. The new due dates are as listed below.

Local Tax

Next Due Date

Municipal Motor Fuel Tax

Municipal Hotel/Motel Tax

Food & Beverage Tax

Package Liquor Tax

In addition, city leaders will reevaluate the due dates as they approach and monitor the need for another extension during these unprecedented circumstances.
