CARBONDALE NON-BARGAINING UNIT EMPLOYEES PERSONNEL BOARD: Carbondale to Host Census Kick-Off Event

Hehe

Carbondale Non-Bargaining Unit Employees Personnel Board recently issued the following announcement.

The City of Carbondale, Carbondale Branch NAACP, and the Jackson County Health Department have teamed up for a census kick-off event later this month.

The "Make 618 Count" open house will be held at Carbondale Middle School on March 25, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Computers will be available for attendees to complete the 2020 Census on-site. Everyone who completes the census during the event will be entered into a drawing to win Apple AirPods.

There will be entertainment from the CMS Jazz Band, games, giveaways and free pizza.

A Spanish language translator will be available to help anyone who may need it.

“Carbondale prides itself on providing its visitors, students, businesses and residents with a unique mix of edge and ease. It’s a cultural town, yet free of pretense, embracing the great outdoors as readily as urban sophistication. Here, we are open to new ideas, experiences and cultures, so you are encouraged to both express yourself and be yourself, in all ways. That’s Carbondale…All Ways Open… for family, fun, business, new ideas and a bright tomorrow.”
