Registration for the John A. Logan College Little Vols Coed Basketball League will close Wednesday, Nov. 2, according to CartervilleLeague.com.
The league will have divisions for first- and second-graders, third- and fourth-graders, and fifth- and sixth-graders. A skill-assessment meeting will be held Nov. 5 at Tri-C Elementary School, 1405 W. Grand Ave., in Carterville. Practices will start the week of Nov. 7. First- and second-graders will practice from 5:30-6:30 p.m. or 6:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesdays, third- and fourth-graders will practice from 5:30-6:30 p.m. or 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursdays, and fifth- and sixth-graders will practice from 5:30-6:30 p.m or 6:30-7:30 p.m. Mondays.
Each team will play five games, which will take place between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturdays starting Nov. 12.
