Murphysboro High School recognized student athletes for their achievements in soccer and cross country, according to a series of posts made on November 13, 2025.

In a tweet posted at 13:38 UTC, Murphysboro HS congratulated its athletes: "Congratulations to these Red Devil athletes on earning SIRR Ohio All Conference honors in soccer!" Later that day, at 15:48 UTC, the school acknowledged two students for their progress in cross country with the message: "Congratulations to Greta Snyder and Carl Harris on receiving the 'Most Improved' Award in Cross Country!" At 16:00 UTC, another tweet highlighted an individual accomplishment: "Red Devils Boys Soccer Scoring and Assist Awards to David Boudet!"
