The Southern Illinois University women's basketball team has released its non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season. The Salukis will open their campaign at home in Carbondale on November 4 against Lewis University, a Division II program from the Chicagoland area.

Head coach Kelly Bond-White commented on the upcoming schedule: "With the rigors of Missouri Valley Conference play in mind, we designed our non-conference schedule to challenge our team and energize our fans. From tough home tests to big-time road and neutral-court matchups, every game is an opportunity to grow and showcase the brand of basketball we're building. We can't wait to see Salukis in the stands bringing the energy this fall."

Following their opener, Southern Illinois will travel to Purdue Fort Wayne on November 15. The team then faces a significant test with an away game at Missouri on November 18. On November 23, SIU returns home to host Austin Peay.

Just before Thanksgiving, the Salukis are scheduled to participate in the Coast 2 Coast Music City Classic in Nashville. They will play Winthrop on November 25 and Arkansas on November 26.

After Thanksgiving, SIU hosts Western Kentucky in Carbondale on November 30. Their last non-conference road game is set for December 3 at UAB. On December 6, SEMO visits Carbondale as part of their ongoing rivalry with SIU. Non-conference play concludes at home against Judson on December 20.

Game start times have not yet been announced.

Fans can follow updates about the team through social media platforms such as Twitter (@SIU_WBasketball), Instagram (@SIU_WBasketball), and Facebook (Facebook.com/SalukiAthletics). The "Salukis" Mobile App is also available for download via the App Store or Google Play Store.
