Southern Illinois University has released the Missouri Valley Conference schedule for the 2025-26 men's basketball season. The Salukis will play a total of 20 league games, with an even split between home and away contests.
The conference opener is set for Thursday, December 18, when Southern Illinois hosts Illinois State at Banterra Center. In January, the team will play five home games against Valparaiso (January 1), Drake (January 14), Belmont (January 17), UNI (January 28), and UIC (January 31). February brings additional home matchups with Murray State (February 6), Evansville (February 12), Bradley (February 15), and Indiana State (February 25).
On the road, Southern Illinois will travel to face Bradley on December 21 and Murray State on December 29. Other away games include visits to Belmont (January 4), UIC (January 7), Valparaiso (January 21), Evansville (January 25), Illinois State (February 3), Indiana State (February 9), Drake (February 18), and UNI (February 21).
Saluki Men's Basketball coach Scott Nagy had no comment on the conference schedule.
