Severin highlights National Popcorn Day and Illinois’ official state snack

Illinois State Representative Dave Severin is marking National Popcorn Day, noting that popcorn was designated as Illinois’ official state snack in 2004. Severin encouraged residents to take part in the celebration by enjoying popcorn.

Severin, a Republican, was elected to the Illinois State House in 2023 and represents the 116th House District, succeeding David Friess.
