Murphysboro High School, part of the Murphysboro Community Unit School District 186 in Illinois, shared several updates on social media. The district serves a diverse student body across multiple schools and has been recognized for its educational efforts.

On May 8, 2025, Murphysboro High School posted a tweet announcing an update with a link to more information: "https://t.co/4S0iidYuxq".

Later that day, the school congratulated Sydney Manor for being named to the SIRR All-Conference Girls Track team. The tweet read: "Congrats Red Devil, SIRR All-Conference Girls Track!!! Sydney Manor https://t.co/Lr9j6ICkKG".

Shortly after, another tweet celebrated Harper Ellermeyer for achieving the same honor as her teammate. It stated: "Congrats Red Devil, SIRR All-Conference Girls Track!!! Harper Ellermeyer https://t.co/HuVUB3mOiC".
