Murphysboro High School, also known as Murphysboro HS, recently used their Twitter account (@MurphysboroHS) to highlight notable events related to the school and its community. On March 26, 2025, Murphysboro HS announced the academic and athletic achievements of a student athlete.

In their first tweet, dated March 26, 2025, Murphysboro HS extended congratulations to Red Devils' basketball player AJ Boese. The tweet read: "Congrats to Red Devils AJ Boese on signing to continue his academic and basketball career at Illinois Central College in Peoria, IL."

The following day, on March 27, 2025, Murphysboro HS shared a tweet containing only a hyperlink. The post can be accessed at this link.

Later on the same date, March 27, 2025, the school announced a baseball game between Murphysboro and Steeleville. The tweet stated: "GAMEDAY! Steeleville 4:30pm Steeleville High School #RedDevilBaseball."
