Murphysboro High School recently highlighted outstanding student-athletes in its boys' basketball program through a series of congratulatory messages on social media. These acknowledgments recognized individual achievements and awards received during the basketball season.

On March 28, 2025, Murphysboro High School congratulated Kemmeon Hale for his contributions to the boys' basketball team. Hale was honored as the "Team Top Rebounder" and also received the "SIRR All-Conference" award.
