Rep. Paul Jacobs has announced that three donors have fully funded the Veterans Honor Flight of Southern Illinois 'Mission 14.' This initiative will allow over 80 veterans to participate in the upcoming spring event. Rep. Jacobs, a veteran himself, expressed gratitude for the support received.
The 'Mission 14' Honor Flight is scheduled to depart from Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois on Tuesday, May 6, at 6:30 a.m. The veterans are expected to return home at approximately 8:50 p.m., where a Welcome Home Celebration will be held. Rep. Jacobs encourages community members to attend and express their appreciation for the veterans.
