The Southern Illinois University women's basketball team faced another setback on Sunday, losing to Bradley with a score of 68-46. This marks the Salukis' fifth consecutive defeat, leaving them with an overall record of 3-16 and a conference record of 1-9.

Throughout the game, SIU struggled offensively, scoring no more than 14 points in any quarter. The team managed a shooting percentage of just 33% from the field and only hit three out of sixteen attempts from beyond the arc.

Bradley capitalized on their long-range shooting, making 42% of their three-point attempts. They were particularly effective in the first, second, and fourth quarters.

For Southern Illinois, Kayla Cooper scored 16 points while Gift Uchenna added a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. This marked Uchenna's thirteenth double-double of the season.

Bradley took control early in the game by scoring 22 points in the first quarter with impressive shooting percentages—56% from the field and 57% from three-point range.
