State Representative Dave Severin recently contributed gently worn shoes to the Safe Haven Homeless Shelter in Mt. Carmel as part of a shoe drive. Severin encouraged others to participate in this initiative.
“These shoes go to people in need in developing nations, and Safe Haven receives money for every pair they donate. It’s truly a win-win!” Severin stated. He also mentioned that donations could be dropped off at his offices, and he would ensure they are delivered to Safe Haven.
