State Representative Dave Severin from Benton, Illinois, issued a statement in celebration of Independence Day 2025. In his message, Severin extended his well-wishes to all Americans on the occasion of the nation's 249th birthday.

"Happy 249th Birthday, America. I hope everyone has a safe and happy 4th of July. I’m excited to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday next year!" Severin stated.
