State Representative Dave Severin has announced a significant development for the arts in Benton, Illinois. The Illinois Arts Council Agency has allocated a $50,000 grant to Wabash CUSD 348. This funding aims to enhance the art curriculum and planning within the district.

Severin emphasized the importance of this grant in promoting fine arts education. He stated, “I want to congratulate Wabash CUSD and the Golden Aces students who will benefit from this grant funding.” He further expressed his belief that education should be comprehensive, including subjects like music and painting alongside traditional academic disciplines. “Congratulations Aces!” he added.
