1) Approve Governmental Consulting Solutions, Inc invoice 6751 for $3,000 for January 2025 Consulting Services.
2) Approve an invoice from MoboTrex for the replacement of a damaged signal cabinet.
B. MINUTES
1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the December 23, 2024 city council meeting.
C. TAX ABATEMENT RESOLUTIONS
1) Resolution 2025-01 abating General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2019 for the 2024 tax year payable 2025 in the amount of $116,384.00.
2) Resolution 2025-02 abating General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2017 for the 2024 tax year payable 2025 in the amount of $261,150.00.
3) Resolution 2025-03 abating General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2022 for the 2024 tax year payable 2025 in the amount of $51,000.00.
4) Resolution 2025-04 abating General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2020 for the 2024 tax year payable 2025 in the amount of $753,437.50.
5) Resolution 2025-5 abating General Obligation Refunding Bonds, Series 2014 for the 2024 tax year payable 2025 in the amount of $865,300.00.
NEW BUSINESS
5. POLICE DEPARTMENT
A. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of the merit board, Commissioner Barwick, and Chief Fitts to hire Mason Summers as a patrol officer at the agreed upon rate per the collective bargaining agreement. Summers' start date will be January 20th, 2025.
B. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Chief Fitts to hire Veronica Miles as a dispatcher at the Probationary 1 rate per the collective bargaining agreement. Miles' start date will be January 14th, 2025.
C. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Chief Fitts to hire Corey Strong as a dispatcher at the probationary 1 rate per the collective bargaining agreement. Strong's start date will be January 15th, 2025.
D. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Chief Fitts to hire Mark Bundren as a school security officer at the agreed upon pay rate between Marion Unit 2 schools and the City of Marion.
E. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3996 authorizing the sale of a 2015 Ford Explorer to the City of Carrier Mills in the amount of $3,000 dollars.

A. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3995 approving a petition for disconnection by John & Marjorie Gordon.
7. BUILDING & CODE SERVICES
A. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3997 amending Ordinance 1861 concerning Roofers working in the City.

A. Discuss/Approve a proposal from Solar on Earth to subscribe each of our City facilities to Community Solar.
