State Representative Dave Severin took the floor during the Illinois House's Lame Duck Session to honor Jennifer Arnold, Superintendent of Field School in Jefferson County. Arnold was recognized with the Agriculture in the Classroom Administrator of the Year award.

Severin introduced House Resolution 966, which passed without opposition, to acknowledge Arnold's achievement. The resolution highlights her contributions to the Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom Awesome Agriculture series and her participation in workshops aimed at integrating agriculture into educational curricula.

Arnold's early exposure to agriculture through her grandparents' stories influenced her teaching career. She has actively worked to incorporate agricultural lessons into classroom activities and encourages her staff at Field Grade School to do the same.

The resolution states: "We congratulate Field Grade School Superintendent Jennifer Arnold on receiving the 2025 Illinois Agriculture in the Classroom Administrator award." It also mentions that a copy of this resolution will be presented to Arnold as a token of esteem and respect.

This recognition is shared on a state-sponsored website where campaign-related content is prohibited due to ethics regulations.
