A. AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A TASK ORDER WITH ENGINEERING ENTERPRISES, INC. (EEI) FOR $13,907 TO PROVIDE DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR MICROSURFACING OF CITY STREETS

This design engineering is for the microsurfacing of the streets below. Additional information is available in the City Council Packet.

B. APPROVE A SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT WITH CMN-RUS, INC.

This agreement is with Metronet. In 2020, the City of Genoa entered into a Cable TV Franchise Agreement with Metronet. Under the Franchise Agreement, the City receives franchise fees. Metronet has decided to no longer provide Cable TV and therefore requested termination of the franchise agreement. Staff negotiated the payment for lost franchise fees that would have been received under the remainder of Franchise Agreement within the Settlement Agreement and therefore CMN-RUS, Inc. (Metronet) will pay the City $19,500 within 30 days of the execution of the agreement.
