National Guard celebrates its founding anniversary

Happy Birthday to the U.S. National Guard, which was initially founded in 1636. The National Guard holds the distinction of being the oldest branch in the U.S. Armed Forces. "Thank you to all of the brave men and women who have served in the National Guard since its creation over 388 years ago."
