FOIA Request to City of Murphysboro Regarding Unpaid Parking Violations on October 28, 2024.

In our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at the Carbondale Reporter have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the City of Murphysboro. The request, sent on October 28, 2024, seeks access to public records pertaining to unpaid parking violations within the city.

The information requested includes a list of all parking violations currently unpaid. This list should include the name of the offender, their address, the amount due for each violation, the date when each violation occurred, and the total amount due.
