Missouri Valley Conference announces women's basketball schedule for Southern Illinois

The Missouri Valley Conference has announced the league portion of the 2024-25 women's basketball schedule. Southern Illinois will start its MVC season on December 29 at Valparaiso in Indiana.

On January 2, the Salukis will play their first conference home game against Murray State, followed by a match against Belmont on January 4.

Southern Illinois is set to compete in a total of 20 league games for the season, with an equal split of 10 home and 10 away games. The team will have a series of four consecutive conference games at the Banterra Center from February 7 to February 16, hosting Evansville, Indiana State, Missouri State, and UIC during this period.

The final road trip for Southern Illinois in the regular season will commence on February 20 at Drake and include visits to Northern Iowa (February 22), Belmont (February 27), and Murray State (March 1).

Southern Illinois will wrap up its league schedule with two back-to-back home games on March 6 against Bradley and March 8 against Illinois State.

The MVC tournament is scheduled to take place from March 13-16 in Evansville, Indiana.
