Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball will host the Saluki Invitational starting Thursday at Davies Gym in Carbondale. The Salukis will engage in their first Missouri Valley Conference match against Missouri State on Thursday. Southeast Missouri State and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville will also compete against the Bears and Salukis.

The weekend schedule is as follows:

- Thursday: vs. Missouri State, 4 p.m., ESPN+ (USA)

- Friday: vs. SIUE, 3 p.m., ESPN+ (Purple Out for Suicide Prevention)

- Saturday: vs. SEMO, 3 p.m. (Maroon Out)

Missouri State leads the series between conference rivals with a record of 61-25; however, the Salukis have won the last four encounters. The Salukis and Cougars have met three times, with SIUE leading 2-1, including a win on August 26, 2022, in Carbondale. Southern Illinois holds a 27-13 advantage over SEMO in their all-time series, winning their last match 3-1 in Cape Girardeau on August 26, 2023.

Anna Jaworski now ranks fourth all-time in assists for Southern Illinois with a total of 3,349, surpassing Hannah Kaminsky's record of 3,339 set from 2012 to 2016 during Saturday's win against Austin Peay.

Larissa Seger ranks seventh in the Missouri Valley Conference in hitting percentage at 31.0%, eighth in total blocks (30), and ninth in blocks per set (0.83). Anna Jaworski is ninth in total assists (201) and tenth in assists per set (5.43) within The Valley.

Ema Stermenska stands sixth in The Valley for total aces with fourteen and tenth for aces per set at .38. Cecilia Bulmahn ranks fifth with a total of 153 digs and seventh for digs per set at an average of .14.

Eva Krakowski was named Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week after achieving her best freshman performance on September 10 at UT Martin with seventeen kills and eight blocks.

Annabelle Sulish has achieved five double-doubles across nine games this season and recorded a career-high twenty-two kills against Lindenwood on September thirteen.
