Williamson County Board of Commissioners met July 25.

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Thursday, July 25, 2024 at 8:02 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, ina meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:

Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Jim Marlo, Commissioner

Jim Rasor, Commissioner

Glen Poshard, present to discuss funding for Boys & Girls Club of Southern Illinois. No action.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Collective Bargaining Agreement between Williamson County and AFSCME for Corrections Officers, Bailiffs, Court Security Officers, Jail Cooks and Sheriff’s Office. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving RESOLUTION NO. 24-07-25-85 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 400 W. JACKSON STREET, MARION, ILLINOIS AND AUTHORIZING THE BOARD CHAIRMAN TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THE PURCHASE. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Tim Atkisson and seconded by Jim Marlo to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
