The Southern Illinois University women's soccer team (0-0-2) concluded their match against UT Martin with a 0-0 draw on Sunday in Martin, Tenn.
The Salukis displayed a strong performance in the first half, recording 14 shots compared to the Skyhawks' eight.
"Good first half performance by the girls. I thought we created a number of opportunities. Maybe just missed a little composure in front of goal to get the lead," head coach Graeme Orr said.
Goalkeeper Fabiana Solano made six saves during the game.
In the second half, both teams struggled to generate significant opportunities, with the Salukis managing only four shots.
"I thought the girls were brave and showed great desire and resilience and remain unbeaten on the season which is ultimately what we are trying to do on this tough road stretch. But now, we recover and move on to our next game," Orr added.
The Salukis will travel to Cape Girardeau, Mo., on Thursday to face SEMO at 6 p.m.
