Unity Point Community Consolidated School District 140 Board met Aug. 8.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

A special meeting of the Board of Education of Unity Point School District #140 will be held in the Unity Point School Library on Thursday, August 8, 2024, at 5:00 PM. An Executive Session will be held during the meeting to consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body. Action on items discussed in the closed session is not expected.

Review of 5Essentials Data

*The Board will review the results of the 5Essentials data from the past 10 years and consider the development of an Action Plan. The survey is administered online by Chicago Impact at the University of Chicago on behalf of the Illinois State Board of Education. It is intended to measure the organizational conditions necessary, including aspects of a school’s culture and climate, to improve student outcomes.
