1) HUB RECREATION CENTER
Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire James Springvloed as part-time Lifeguard $15.50/hour, pending results of pre-employment requirements.
Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to add the job code of Security Officer at the wage of $18.00/hour, for current employee Daniel Barriger, retroactive to June 1, 2024.
Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Jordan Dwyer as part-time Fitness Attendant $14.00/hour, pending results of pre-employment requirements.
Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Hayden Nguyen as part-time Lifeguard $15.50/hour, pending results of pre-employment requirements.
2) SEWER DEPARTMENT
Approve the recommendation of the Wastewater Supervisor to hire Josh Stevers as full-time laborer pending pre-employment screening; terms per the CBA.
C. MINUTES
1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the May 28, 2024 council meeting.
D. BOARD APPOINTMENTS
1) Discuss/Approve the re-appointments of Phyllis Landwehr, Carolyn Loving, and Steve Aschieris to the Library Board for three-year terms expiring June 2027 and the appointment of Sue Ella Rhine to fill the unexpired term of Dr. O'Keefe who resigned from the Library Board.
NEW BUSINESS
7. POLICE DEPARTMENT
A. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Commissioner Barwick and Chief Fitts to purchase a 2023 Dodge Durango for the K9 unit, a 2025 Ford Explorer for the Investigations unit, and five 2025 Ford Explorers for the patrol unit. The total cost for all vehicles is $315,431.00. These are budgeted items.
B. Discuss/Approve the recommendation of Commissioner Barwick and Chief Fitts to purchase police emergency equipment for the newly purchased vehicles at a total cost of $76,131.91. These are budgeted items.
8. PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT
A. Discuss/Approve the purchase of X Series 1250 Grabber fall protection for $65,162.
9. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND MUNICIPAL PLANNING
A. Discuss/Approve FY25 TIF Grants received through June 7, 2024.
B. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3959 a Residential TIF I Redevelopment Agreement with Comfortable Homes, LLC.
C. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3960 a Residential TIF II Redevelopment Agreement with Comfortable Houses, LLC.
D. Discuss/Approve an Electric Relocation Agreement with Ameren Illinois and approving payment from North Commercial TIF Funds.
