A. EMPLOYMENT

1) MARION CARNEGIE LIBRARY

Approve the recommendation of the Director to hire Nicole Davis as full time Librarian 1 for $14.50/hour pending results of pre-employment requirements.

Approve the recommendation of the Director to hire Sydney Odum as full time Librarian 1 for $14.50/hour pending results of pre-employment requirements.

2) HUB RECREATION CENTER

Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Logan Hoffman as part-time Fitness Attendant $14.00/hour, Football Staff $14.00/hour, Basketball Staff $14.00/hour, and Cafe Attendant $14.00/hour.

Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Lacey Edwards as part-time Swim Instructor $20.00/hour, retroactive to March 12, 2024.

Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Zachary Oglesby as part-time Personal Trainer $30.00/hour, pending results of pre-employment requirements.

3) BUILDING & CODE SERVICES

Approve the recommendation of the Director to hire Haley Vaughn to the open full-time Office Assistant position at $16/hour.

1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the March 11, 2024 council meeting.

A. Discuss and vote to either affirm or overrule the Zoning Board’s approval of a request for a 2’ ft. Variance on the North & South side making the setback 8’ ft. instead of the required 10’ ft. at 902 N Highland St., Parcel# 06-13-259-005. (Huey)

B. Discuss and vote to either affirm or overrule the Zoning Board’s approval of a request for a 10' ft. Variance on the west side of 1203 E Reeves St., Parcel# 07-18-284-005. (Lane Erectors)

C. Discuss and vote to either affirm or overrule the Zoning Board’s approval of a request for a 4' ft. Variance on the front setback at 1408 W Walnut St., Parcel# 06-24-132-010, for a porch built without a permit. (Vachata)

6. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND MUNICIPAL PLANNING

A. Discuss/Adopt Resolution 2024-10; a TIF XX Inducement Agreement with Aspire Yoga, LLC.

B. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3946 amending a Redevelopment Agreement with South Market Homes, LLC adding additional developers.

C. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3947 a Residential TIF I Redevelopment Agreement with Julian Rodriguez for a commercial building at 511 E. DeYoung.

D. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3948 a Hub TIF Redevelopment Agreement with Rodriguez & Rodriguez, Inc. for La Fiesta.

7. STREET DEPARTMENT

A. Discuss/Adopt Resolution 2024-11 authorizing the use of Motor Fuel Tax funds for the 2024 Street Overlay Program.

B. Discuss/Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Horner Shifrin for the design and construction engineering of the 2024 Street Overlay Program.

C. Discuss/Approve the low bids from ET Simmons for parking lot paving at the Pavilion and the Training Center; using Project Funds.

D. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3944 for jurisdictional transfer of roads by agreement with Williamson County.

E. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3945 for jurisdictional acceptance of roads from Williamson County.

F. Discuss/Approve the order and purchase of an F-150 and F-550 from Jim Hayes, Inc & the purchase of a dump bed for the F-550 from Meyer Truck Equipment; FY25 budgeted items.

G. Discuss/Approve the purchase of a new bush hog from Little Tractor & Equipment; a budgeted item.
