Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Feb. 22.

The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met Thursday, February 22, 2024 at 9:03 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:

Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Jim Marlo, Commissioner

Jim Rasor, Commissioner

Excess Liability and Hope Trust Board Member will be discussed at a later date.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving Intergovernmental Agreement Providing for the Decommissioning and Financial Assurance of a Commercial Solar Energy Facility Located within the Corporate Limits of the City of Herrin. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor, approving purchase of two ¾ ton pickups for the Highway Department in the amount of $82,230 from Absher-Arnold Motors. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Jim Rasor to adjourn meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Tim Atkisson, Yea; Jim Marlo, Yea; Jim Rasor, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
