4.7% of Williamson County residents considered unemployed in 2021

Williamson County recorded an unemployment rate of 4.7% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 1,471 people out of the 67,271 living in Williamson County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Williamson County has decreased compared to the 5.2% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Williamson County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 6.2%.

Of the 29,897 people who had a job during that time, 124 were employed in the Armed Forces and 29,773 belonged to the civilian labor force.
