Anne West Lindsey Library District Board met Aug. 22.

Name of committee: Decennial Committee
Members present: Heather Abell Castlebery, Mary Stoner, Jim Koonce, Allison Owen, Nancy Schmidt, Teri Ingram, Sheri Hunter, Bill Slider, Elaine Miskell, and Paula Buritsch
Members absent: None
The meeting of the Anne West Lindsey District Decennial Committee, on August 22, 2023, was called to order at 5:36 pm and a quorum was established. In attendance were Heather Abell Castlebery, Elaine Miskell, Sheri Hunter, Bill Slider, Jim Koonce, Paula Buritsch and Nancy Schmidt. Library Director, Mary Stoner, and community members Allison Owen and Teri Ingram, were present as well.
Allison Owen made a motion to approve the agenda. Bill Slider seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Mary Stoner thanked the committee for their time and work on this project. She shared documents and other resources to guide the committee members. A checklist was provided to the committee and the members focused on verifying that the library met these requirements and did so in an efficient manner.
At the end of the meeting, the committee surveyed the two community members asking for input on the matters discussed. Both community members stated they have nothing to add at this time.
The committee has set the next meeting for September 26, 2023 at 6pm.
Committee meeting was adjourned at 6:25pm with a motion from Elaine Miskell and seconded by Allison Owen. Motion passed.
