There were 1,813 white students enrolled in Carterville Community Unit School District 5 in the 2021-22 school year, 2.5% more than the previous year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

Data showed that Carterville Community Unit School District 5 welcomed 2,149 students during the 2021-22 school year. Among them, white students comprised 82.4% of the student body to be the most represented ethnicity in the district.

Carterville Community Unit School District 5 roughly covers schools within Williamson County and has a main office in Carterville.

Among the four schools in Carterville Community Unit School District 5, Tri-C Elementary School recorded the highest enrollment of white students in the 2021-22 school year, with a total of 580 students.
