The Board of Education of the Johnston City Community Unit School District No. 1 met at a special Board meeting held on June 5, 2023 with Regular Session beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Unit Office, 200 E. 12th Street, Johnston City, IL. Vice President Chad Barras called the meeting to order and asked the clerk for the attendance roll call.
ROLL CALL
Present: Jimmy Dean, John Etherton, Patti Martin, Randy McIntosh, John Van, and
Chad Barras
Absent: Chris Cullum
Motion made by Jimmy Dean and seconded by John Etherton to authorize Hurst-Rosche to solicit bids for the Jefferson School Parking Lot Project.
Voting Aye: Dean, Etherton, Martin, McIntosh, Van, and Barras
Motion Carried
Motion made by Randy McIntosh and seconded by John Etherton to employ Valerie Turner as a Summer School Aide.
Voting Aye: Dean, Etherton, Martin, McIntosh, Van, and Barras
Motion Carried
Motion made Jimmy Dean and seconded by John Etherton to adjourn the meeting at 6:08 p.m.
