A caregiver is someone who provides help

A caregiver is someone who provides help with someone’s daily living and/or medical needs because of temporary or long-term limitations caused by injury, illness, disability, aging, etc. RespectCaregivers.org reported that in 2022, one in five Americans (21.3% of the population) served as a caregiver.

On February 17th, please join SIH in celebrating National Caregivers Day to honor those individuals who selflessly provide personal care, physical and emotional support to those who need it most. We think the special kindness of patience and caregiving should be celebrated year-round, but their importance is especially honored on National Caregivers Day when we should be there celebrating them just as they are there for our loved ones every day.
