The Williamson County Board of Commissioners met at 10:05 a.m. at the Williamson County Administrative Building Boardroom, Marion, Illinois, in a meeting of the Williamson County Board of Commissioners with the following members present:

Jim Marlo, Chairman

Brent Gentry, Commissioner

Tim Atkisson, Commissioner

Discussion had on portable building for Recycling. No action taken.

Motion made by Jim Marlo and seconded by Tim Atkisson to move into Executive Session citing. 5ILCS 120/2(c). Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Tim Atkisson, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Tim Atkisson to move back into open session at 2:40 p.m. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Tim Atkisson, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Tim Atkisson, approving the hiring of Brian Burgess for EMA Supervisor position, contingent on a background check. The salary will start at $55,000 increasing after 90 days to $57,500 and on 12/1/2022 raising to $58,600. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Tim Atkisson, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.

Motion made by Brent Gentry and seconded by Tim Atkisson adjourning meeting. Roll call vote was taken as follows: Jim Marlo, Yea; Brent Gentry, Yea; Tim Atkisson, Yea. All members present voting Yea; motion carried.
